What we engrave and cut.
Material thickness, finish, and supplier specification all affect engraving depth and contrast. Send a sample if you need exact colour matching for production runs.
Oak, walnut, beech, birch ply, MDF, and bamboo. Natural grain shows through. Excellent for awards, signage, gift boxes, and branded coasters.
Clear, frosted, opaque, and mirror finishes. Cut and engraved. Ideal for shop signage, point-of-sale displays, name badges, and event branding.
Vegetable-tanned and full-grain leather. Crisp, dark engraving suited to wallets, notebook covers, tags, and branded gifts.
Anodised aluminium, painted, and powder-coated steel. The coating is removed to reveal the substrate, producing a high-contrast permanent mark.
Natural slate coasters, plaques, and tiles. Soft white engraving against dark stone. Premium feel for awards and hospitality branding.
Wedding invitations, packaging inserts, hang tags, and short-run stationery. Score, cut, and engrave on a single pass.
From single awards to ten-thousand-unit runs.
We engrave for promo agencies, hospitality groups, gift brands, internal teams, and one-off projects. Volume changes the price, not the standard of finish.

What we accept.
Vector artwork is preferred for crisp, scalable engraving. Raster files are accepted for photo engraving when contrast is high.
| Format | Extension | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| SVG | .svg | Preferred. Clean vector artwork with outlined text. |
| Adobe Illustrator | .ai | Convert text to outlines before sending to avoid font substitution. |
| EPS | .eps | Accepted. Flatten layers where possible. |
| Vector PDFs only. Include exact dimensions on the page. | ||
| DXF | .dxf | Preferred for cut paths and engineering drawings. |
| Raster | .png / .jpg | Used for photo engraving. High contrast originals produce the best result. |
How quickly we move.
3–5 days
From artwork sign-off to dispatch. Includes setup, engraving, QC, and packaging.
Up to 24 hours
Subject to current capacity and material on the shelf. Larger runs need more lead time. Tell us your deadline at enquiry stage and we'll confirm availability.
Preparing files for engraving.
A few simple checks before you send save back-and-forth at quote stage and produce a sharper finish.
Send vector where possible
Vectors engrave as crisp lines at any scale. Raster files are interpreted as bitmaps, which can soften fine detail on small parts.
Convert text to outlines
If we do not have the exact font installed, your text will substitute. Outlining text before export removes the risk entirely.
Mind the minimum text size
Aim for 4mm cap height or larger on wood and acrylic. Smaller text engraves but can lose readability against grain or texture.
Separate cut and engrave paths
Use different stroke colours or layers for cut lines, score lines, and engraved fills. We confirm the mapping before production.
Include exact dimensions
Tell us the finished size in millimetres. Without dimensions we will quote at the artwork file size, which is often not what you intended.
High contrast for photo engraving
If engraving a photograph, supply the highest-resolution original you have. Strong contrast and clear focal subjects translate best to a monochrome engrave.
Already printing parts with us? We can engrave them too.
3D-printed plaques engraved with names. Acrylic standees paired with printed bases. Wooden display boxes for printed figurines. One supplier, one production schedule, one invoice. Tell us at brief stage and we'll plan both processes into the same lead time.
