LAYER 01 Our story

Started at a kitchen table. Run the same way today, just at far greater scale.

Rows of Bambu Lab printers running in the Yorkshire3D print farm

Yorkshire3D began in 2019 with a single printer, one corner of a Huddersfield kitchen, and a habit of saying yes to small bespoke jobs that other manufacturers would not touch. The kitchen-table operation became a workshop, the workshop became a production line, and the production line eventually justified incorporation as Yorkshire3D Limited in 2024.

The work is still family-run. The same people who packed the first 100 orders are the ones quoting your bulk run, calibrating your prototype, and checking your dispatch. What has changed is the discipline: written specs, named contacts, honest lead times, and proper QA on every job that leaves the building.

Today we serve UK and international businesses through dropshipping and white-label fulfilment, bulk and custom manufacturing, design and prototyping, print-only, and laser engraving. The shop side of the business is still very much alive at shop.yorkshire3d.co.uk, and the consumer volume is what keeps the production line sharp.

LAYER 02 Growth timeline

Seven years, one workshop.

Milestones that mattered, recorded in the order they happened. The numbers are verified against our own order history.

A single FDM printer, a small workshop, and the first run of personalised gifts. Family-run from day one.

Demand outgrew the kitchen. We moved into a dedicated workshop and built out the first proper production line.

LAYER 04 The team

Four people. One workshop. No middle layer.

When you raise a project with Yorkshire3D, one of these four is the person you are dealing with. There is no account-management layer between you and the workshop.

Jayson

Founder and Creative Director

Sets the direction of the business and owns the relationship with new B2B accounts. Translates briefs into print-ready work, and the person you will be speaking to on a first call.

Donna

Head of Fulfilment and QA, Co-founder

Runs fulfilment and quality assurance. Every order is checked against spec before it leaves the workshop, and the QA standard for white-label and dropshipping work is hers.

Gaius

Production Engineer and Design Specialist

Keeps the printer fleet calibrated and the production line running. Leads on DFM advice, prototype iteration, and the technical side of custom briefs.

Monique

Logistics Coordinator

Owns dispatch and carrier relationships. Handles bulk and international consignments, and is the point of contact when timing matters more than anything else.

LAYER 05 How we work

Four commitments we hold ourselves to.

These are the rules every order is judged against, whether the invoice is £500 or £50,000.

UK-based manufacturing

Every order is printed in Huddersfield. Nothing is outsourced overseas, which keeps lead times short, IP onshore, and import-related carbon out of the equation.

A named contact, not a ticket queue

Business accounts work with a real person from quote through to dispatch. You will know who is running your job, and you will be able to reach them directly.

Honest lead times

We quote actual dispatch windows, not best-case scenarios. If capacity is tight, we say so up front and offer dates we can hold to.

Sustainable by default

Eco-friendly PLA across the catalogue, carbon-neutral shipping as standard, and recyclable packaging. Sustainability is a default, not an upgrade.

LAYER 06 What B2B clients value

The three things business buyers tell us actually matter.

We have not invented logos to put on this page. Instead, here is what procurement teams and founders consistently say about working with us.

Treated the same at £500 and £50,000

A startup founder ordering 50 units gets the same care as a Fortune 500 procurement lead ordering 50,000. Same workshop, same people, same QA.

Specifications written down

Colour codes, tolerances, packaging, label artwork, and inserts are captured in writing before the first unit prints. Reorders match the original, every time.

No surprise invoicing

Quoted prices are the prices you pay. Carriage, packaging, and reasonable design tweaks are included unless we flag them in advance.

LAYER 07 Sustainability

UK manufacturing

Eco-PLA, carbon-neutral shipping, and a workshop that is already in the UK.

Close-up of colourful PLA filament spools in the workshop

Our standard PLA is plant-based and produced for low-impact processing. We do not treat sustainability as a tier or an upcharge, it is the default specification across the catalogue and the B2B pipeline.

The single biggest environmental decision in 3D printing is not the filament. It is where the parts are made. Manufacturing in Huddersfield means your stock is not flying in from a factory in Asia. That cuts import-related carbon, removes weeks of shipping lead time, and keeps the whole production chain on a timezone you can ring before lunch.

  • Eco-friendly PLA as the default material across the range.
  • Carbon-neutral shipping included on UK and international orders.
  • Recyclable packaging, minimal plastic, branded inserts on request.
  • Reprints and offcuts ground and reused where the spec allows.

LAYER 08 Customer feedback

Rated 4.9 out of 5 by thousands of buyers.

Verified reviews from the consumer side of the business. The standard of work behind these is the same standard our B2B clients see on bulk and white-label runs.

I purchased the personalised name key rings for party bags and I'm so so happy with them. The quality is great and there are so many colours to choose from. The price point is brilliant too and they arrived really quick.

Fast service and delivery. I ordered 4 for each of my kids bike lock keys. Love how they are personalised with their favourite colours. The quality is also fantastic and price was extremely reasonable. 10/10 would highly recommend.
Maggie R.Verified Buyer · Trustpilot
Yorkshire3D not only make bespoke 3D-printed products, they do it for a very reasonable price, and with excellent customer service. It's the combination of these three things that makes Yorkshire3D stand out from the crowd.
